Curiosities or concerns? Post them here. We'll respond by answering your inquiry in the Questions and Answers section.
What are some of your deepest dreams, and how can they be realize at the fruit trail?
What were some of your favorite childhood experiences, and how can we bring them to Fairfield Hills?
What are some of your personal gifts and talents, and how can they be integrated to improve the trail, the town, and the world?
Close your eyes, and bring yourself to a future, five, ten, fifty years from now, in which humans have successfully mended climate change and other trials. What does that world look like? What does it feel like? What do you hear, smell, sense and feel? What visions arise?...What might a park or path be like in that world, and how can we build it here, today?
Anything else that you feel called to add or express may be shared here, whether it fits in the above spaces or not.
You may send any drawings, sketches or other captured visions by email, to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mailing to the Parks and Recreation Department, ATTN: New Fruit Trail. It is highly encouraged to participate in the Community Design Studio this April; a great place to create and post such heartwarming visions, find a role, explore maps and get involved. All input will be integrated into the final design.
Find roles in 'Contribute' and 'Participate'.
What have you got? What's your vision for the most exciting possible walking trail that we could plant in our town? What is one scene or concept, picture or idea that appears when you think of a safe, luxuriously abundant trail of fruit for all to share?
Weigh in on what species we should plant, how many or how few. Do you prefer persimmons over plums? Cherries over berries? Tell us about it here, and explore the resources to the right if you would like to know more about what's possible to grow in our northeastern climate!
